A Wolcott man, who had felony warrants out for his arrest in Cayuga County stemming from a stolen car investigation, is facing even more charges after leading police on a chase Wednesday.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports 22-year-old Trent Goodrich took off from deputies after he spotted them in Wolcott. He led police on a pursuit until he crashed into an orchard off Ridge Road in Huron.
At first, Goodrich took off on foot but was apprehended at the scene.
Goodrich was turned over to the Cayuga County authorities and will face charges in Wayne County once an investigation is complete.
