NYS Veterans Cemetery Is “Hallowed Ground”

One Thousand, 195 veterans and family members are buried now at the New York State Veterans Cemetery-Finger Lakes at the former Sampson Naval Training Station and Sampson Air Force Base in Romulus.  Yesterday during Memorial Day ceremonies former State Senator Mike Nozzolio says its hallowed ground-

State Assemblymen Jeff Gallahan and Phil Palmesano.

 

 

 

Meanwhile, the group Friends of the NY State Veteran Cemetery-Finger Lakes are raising money to establish a new entryway and obelisk.
