Two Rochester Women Accused of Assaulting Pregnant Woman at McDonald’s

Two Rochester women have been arrested after police say they allegedly assaulted a woman inside a restroom at the McDonald’s on West Ridge Road in the town of Greece.

25-year-old Franscheska Avilas and 18-year-old Aniyha Gonzalez repeatedly punched the victim and stole her personal belongings. A third person filmed the assault. The suspects fled the scene in a black Toyota Corolla, which had been reported stolen to the Rochester Police Department. On Thursday, information was developed indicating that was stolen car was in the area of Dewey Avenue. Greece Police located the car parked with Avilas and Gonzales inside. They were detained without incident.

13WHAM in Rochester reports that the victim of the McDonald’s assault is pregnant. She was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment of facial injuries.

Greece Police reported Avilas has been charged with second-degree robbery, aggravated criminal contempt, second-degree assault, and fourth-degree grand larceny.  Gonzalez faces similar charges, excluding the contempt count.

Both women are also charged with criminal possession of stolen property and unauthorized use of a vehicle in connection with a stolen vehicle incident on Thursday.
