State Police are investigating a shooting that injured a teenager Wednesday afternoon in the town of Palermo.
Troopers were called around 1:30 p.m. to a home on State Route 49 for reports of a disturbance. Investigators say an altercation happened outside the residence, during which a 17-year-old male fired a gun.
Another 17-year-old male was later found and taken to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse with a non-life-threatening injury.
The investigation is ongoing.
