Two people were injured when the horse-drawn carriage they were riding in was struck from behind by a vehicle in Onondaga County Monday night.
According to NewsChannel 9 in Syracuse, the accident happened just before 6:30 on Poolsbrook Road in the town of Kirkville. Police say the carriage suffered significant damage and the two horses pulling it were also injured.
The two people on the carriage and the vehicle driver were all taken to local hospitals for evaluation. The investigation into the accident continues.
