TANDEM AND EMPTY TRUCK BAN: Due to the forecasted sustained winds of 30 to 40 mph and gusts of more than 70 mph, all tandems, empty trucks and tractor-trailers are restricted from traveling on the New York State Thruway (I-90) from exit 36 (Watertown – Binghamton – I-81) to the Pennsylvania border, and on the Niagara Thruway (I-190) between I-90 and exit 22 (Route 62) until further notice.
