Syracuse Mom Admits to Assaulting Child’s Middle School Teacher

A parent of a Syracuse middle school student has admitted to assaulting a teacher close to one year ago at the school. Lynzina Sutton, of Syracuse, pleaded guilty on Monday to assault and will spend two years in prison when sentenced on March 24th.

NewsChannel 9 in Syracuse reports that on last February 16, Sutton went to the room of her child’s teacher after sneaking past school security, and punched the teacher in the face, breaking her nose.

Sutton initially faced 14 charges, including 11 counts of endangering the welfare of a child
