Siena Poll: 1/2 of NYers Spending Under $500 on Holidays

How much money are New Yorkers spending on holiday shopping?

According to a Siena College Research Institute poll, just under half plan to spend under $500 this year. 16% plan on spending over $1,000 this season.

The poll goes on to say that, between food, gifts, and other spending, half of the state’s residents believe holiday spending will have a serious impact on their financial condition.
