A Van Buren woman is facing charges after allegedly stabbing a man in Onondaga County.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, at around 12:30a Wednesday, deputies responded to a residence in the town for the report of a stabbing. They found a man who had been stabbed in his neck and hand.
The victim was taken to Upstate Medical Center where he was treated and later released.
Deputies determined the man had been stabbed by his roommate, 28-year old Anastacia Heil, before fleeing the scene. She was found a few hours later, arrested, and taken to the Justice Center.
Heil has been charged with Assault and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
