The New York State Conference of Mayors and Municipal Officials (NYCOM), representing cities and villages across the Empire State, will continue its statewide media tour to urge the Governor and the State Legislature to increase unrestricted aid to cities and villages for the first time in 15 years. The tour will also tout legislative priorities touching upon finance, employee relations, public safety, government operations, community redevelopment, energy, technology, and the environment.

The third stop on the tour will be in Rochester on Monday at 11 a.m. at City Hall. The tour kicked off in February in Rockville Centre on Long Island with mayors from across Nassau and Suffolk counties, followed by a stop in White Plains. The tour will then continue in Buffalo on March 19 and Albany on March 20.
