A homicide investigation is underway at the Groveland Correctional Facility in Livingston County after an inmate was allegedly stabbed to death over the weekend.
State Police report that 36-year-old Rashawn Belle was pronounced dead at the prison on Saturday. A second victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
No additional information was released and the investigation is ongoing.
