A 19-year-old from South Dakota has been suspended from attending college in Oneida County after allegedly posting anti-Semitic remarks on campus.

Adyn Brenden admitted to State Police to posting the remarks on art canvasses at Hamilton College in Kirkland after investigators conducted several interviews and reviewed video surveillance. After Brenden was located in his dorm room, he agreed to speak with investigators.

After admitting to the alleged crimes, Brenden was taken into custody and charged with felony aggravated harassment. He will remain suspended from being on campus pending a hearing for his dismissal from Hamilton College.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
