FBI Raids Home of Hochul’s Ex-Deputy Chief

The Nassau County home of a former deputy chief of staff to Governor Kathy Hochul was searched by the FBI this week.

NBC New York reports that federal officers were seen around Linda Sun’s Manhasset property on Tuesday morning. What led to the investigation is still unclear.

Sun was appointed deputy chief of staff to Governor Hochul in September 2021. According to her LInkedInSun worked in state government for almost 15 years, first as the chief of staff for a state lawmaker, then held posts in the administration of former Gov. Andrew Cuomo and eventually served as the deputy chief of staff for Hochul, according to her LinkedIn profile.

No criminal charges have been filed in the case.
