If you have an old automotive or marine lead-acid battery that you’ve been wanting to get rid of, AAA of Western and Central New York is offering two collection points throughout the region this week.
Held in conjunction with Earth Day, the annual AAA Great Battery Roundup will be held Wednesday through Saturday. Drop-off locations in our region include Harry’s Tire in Auburn and Union Street Automotive in Newark.
Any brand or type of lead-acid or AGM batteries will be collected, including car, boat and RV batteries, however, lithium batteries will not.
