Yates County Man Pleads Guilty in Meth Case

A Rock Stream man has pleaded guilty to a felony drug charge in Schuyler County following a State Police investigation.

According to the Schuyler County District Attorney’s Office, 45-year-old Jeremy Wright pleaded guilty on Thursday in Schuyler County Court to Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Second Degree, a Class A-II felony.

Authorities said Wright was arrested on April 3, 2025, after investigators executed a search warrant at his residence. During the search, police reportedly found about two gallons of methamphetamine oil, crystal methamphetamine, meth manufacturing equipment, roughly 300 pseudoephedrine pills, digital scales, and packaging materials.

The case was investigated by the New York State Police Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team, with assistance from the Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team.

Wright is scheduled to be sentenced on April 30. The case is being prosecuted by the Schuyler County District Attorney’s Office.
