Two women are accused of stealing almost $4,000 in merchandise from an Ontario County store.
Deputies were able to apprehend 22-year-old Aviana Whalen, of Rochester, and 21-year-old Yanique Mongeon, homeless, as they were exiting the Target store at 7500 Commons Boulevard in Victor. Both women were charged with grand larceny after $3762.95 of merchandise was recovered.
Whalen and Mongeon were taken to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment and will appear in Victor Town Court at a later date.
