On Wednesday, deputies arrested Karl Allen, 32, of Williamson, following a traffic stop in the Town of Williamson.

Allen was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree – Cocaine. The arrest stems from an investigation into a vehicle and traffic law violation that occurred on August 3, 2025, at approximately 4:54 a.m.

During that original roadside investigation, a deputy allegedly found Allen in possession of drug paraphernalia. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a substance believed to be crack cocaine. Following laboratory testing of the substance, deputies located Allen on Wednesday during a separate traffic stop and took him into custody without incident.

Allen was transported to the Wayne County Jail, where he was held pending Centralized Arraignment.
