A Webster man faces charges of criminal contempt, criminal mischief, and harassment in Seneca County following the investigation into an incident that occurred in the town of Ovid. 19-year-old Ernest Sorber was allegedly involved in a domestic incident with an individual who is the protected party of a current standing full stay away order of protection. Sorber is also accused of injuring the victim and damaging their pickup truck by throwing large chunks of wood at both.
The victim denied medical treatment.
Sorber was taken into custody without incident and brought to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
