The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports that a 32-year-old Lyons woman was arrested Friday evening following an incident on Water Street in the Town of Lyons.
Alaina L. Smith, of Canal Street, was taken into custody around 11 p.m. during a stop by deputies. Authorities say Smith failed to use a provided sidewalk and repeatedly disobeyed deputies’ orders while attempting to leave the stop.
She was charged with one count of obstruction of governmental administration in the second degree and failure to use a provided sidewalk.
Smith was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Lyons Town Court at a later date.
