Wayne County Sheriff Announces Warrant Arrest

A warrant investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office resulted in the arrest of a Rochester man.

Deputies arrested Kyoni Smith for violation of probation. Officers located Smith at his home and brought him to the Wayne County Jail to await for arraignment.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
