A registered sex offender who lives in Wayne County has been arrested.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, upon his release from jail in March, Jason Ward, of Lyons, failed to notify authorities of his address change in the allotted amount of time allowed by New York State Corrections Law.
Ward was arrested Thursday on a charge of failure to notify a change of address as a Level Two sex offender and was released on an appearance ticket.
