A joint investigation by the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Social Services resulted in the arrest of a 31-year-old Watkins Glen woman.
Breonna Bates was charged with grand larceny as a result of the investigation.
Following her arraignment, Bates was issued an appearance ticket for Montour Falls Village Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
