A Waterloo woman was arrested by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office on charges of attempted assault and endangering the welfare of a child charges.
The charges against Jasmine Arroyo stem from an incident where the 27-year-old is accused of attempting to cause physical injury to another person after she allegedly punched the other person multiple times. The victim was holding a one-year-old child at the time of the alleged incident. Neither the child nor the victim was injured.
Arroyo was placed into custody and transferred to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
An Order of Protection was filed on behalf of the victim
