On January 25th, 2023, at 2:56 p.m., the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Julie Bauman, age 46, of Waterloo.
Julie was allegedly observed taking merchandise from a local business. Bauman had canceled merchandise on her person inside of a bag that she had with her. Bauman had passed all points of sale with no attempt to render any type of payment. She had previously been trespassed from the store in January 2021 for stealing merchandise.
Bauman was charged with petit larceny, criminal trespass in the 3rd degree, and Burglary in the 3rd degree and was released on an appearance ticket.
