Waterloo Woman Arrested After Welfare Fraud Investigation

A Waterloo woman has been arrested by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office following a welfare fraud investigation.

It is alleged that 36-year-old Kaylee Howcroft received benefits she was not entitled to. She was charged with welfare fraud, offering a false instrument for filing and misuse of food stamps.

Following her arraignment at the Seneca County Jail, Howcroft was released to appear in Waterloo Town Court at a later date.
