A Waterloo man was charged with felony driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop in Seneca Falls over the weekend.
During a roadside investigation by Seneca Falls Police, it was determined that Lawrence Wolcott, the Second, was stopped for driving a motor vehicle with a suspended registration. After it was determined that Wolcott had been driving under the influence of alcohol, he was charged with drunken driving. The charge later became a felony after it was discovered Wolcott had a prior DWI conviction in the last ten years.
The 41-year-old was also charged with operating a car while registration was suspended, failure to surrender suspended license plates, and driving without insurance.
Wolcott refused to submit to a breath test and was brought to the Seneca County Jail due to his failure to comply to a breath test.
