Waterloo Man Accused of Violating Order of Protection Found Hiding Under Bed

A Waterloo man who was accused of violating a stay away Order of Protection was taken into custody by police after they found him hiding underneath a bed.

19-year-old Andrew Scarborough was taken into custody by Seneca Falls Police without incident after police found where he was hiding. Scarborough was taken to the Seneca Falls Police Department for processing and was charged with criminal contempt and obstructing governmental administration, both misdemeanors. Scarborough was taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.

An Order of Protection was requested on behalf of the victim.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
