A traffic stop in the town of Huron by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office resulted in the arrest of a Walworth resident.
Tracy Mortimer was spotted by Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies allegedly driving 78 miles per hour in a 55-mile-per-hour speed zone. Upon further investigation, Mortimer is alleged to have exhibited signs of intoxication and deputies conducted field sobriety tests.
Mortimer was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and refused to submit to a chemical breath test.
Mortimer was charged with drunken driving and speeding.
