The investigation into a motor vehicle accident in Cayuga County resulted in the arrest of a Victory woman.
Through its investigation, the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office determined Erica Cardinale was driving west on Mott Road when she crossed over into the oncoming lane and then continued off the road, striking the ditch on the south side of the road. The 35-year-old was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a Blood Alcohol Content above .08% and traffic infractions.
Cardinale was released on appearance tickets for Victory Town Court.
