A Victor woman was ticketed after police say she caused a three-car collision Monday night in Farmington.
Jacob Schafer, of Newark, was driving east on State Route 96 when a westbound Ford Escape driven by Deborah Braman began to make a left turn to go south onto State Route 332 but failed to yield the right of way and pulled into the path of Schafer. The impact caused Braman’s car to be spun in the intersection where it then hit a vehicle driven by Madison Cunningham, of Farmington, which was stopped at the light to head north on 332.
Braman and her passenger were taken to Thompson Hospital for complaints of neck and rib pain. A passenger in Schafer’s car was also taken to Thompson for chest pain and bruising.
Braman was ticketed for failure to yield.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports everyone involved in the accident was wearing seatbelts.
