Police arrested a Canandaigua man after 9-1-1 received a call from a person reporting their Uber driver was intoxicated.
The vehicle described by the caller was located and a traffic stop was initiated after several traffic violations were observed. An investigation determined Dudley Purbeck was driving his car allegedly while drunk.
The 43-year-old was subsequently arrested for driving while intoxicated and was being held at the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
