An ongoing investigation into the sale of crack cocaine in the town of Canandaigua has resulted in the arrest of two convicted felons.

47-year-old Joemaine Bogan, and 36-year-old John Gabak, were each found to be in possession of crack cocaine they intended to sell while they were both in the parking lot at 405 Lakeshore Drive.

The men, who are from Canandaigua, were charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance. Bogan was also charged with felony tampering with physical evidence after he allegedly hid the crack and attempted to destroy it in order to prevent investigators from recovering it.

Both men are being held in Ontario County Jail due to their prior felony convictions.
