The investigation into a burglary that happened last month in Steuben County has resulted in the arrest of two Corning residents, including an 18-year-old, on felony charges.
It is alleged that on September 16th, 21-year-old Malik Smith and 18-year-old Manuel Colon, Junior, entered a home in the town of Erwin without permission and stole property worth more than $1,000. Colon and Smith are each charged with grand larceny and burglary, both felonies, and were sent to jail in lieu of bail.
The Corning City Police Department assisted the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office with the investigation and arrests.
