An armed robbery at KFC on Elmira Road in Ithaca led to the arrest of two Ithaca residents.

44-year-old Allen Forest is accused of holding an employee at gunpoint and demanding money before fleeing with an accomplice just after 10 Thursday night. An investigation by Ithaca police led them to a nearby residence where Forest, and the accomplice, identified as 24-year-old Jessica Anderson, had retreated. A search warrant was executed at the home, resulting in what police said was the discovery of key evidence.

Forest was charged with robbery, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal use of a firearm, and grand larceny, all felonies, and misdemeanor menacing. Anderson was charged with felony robbery. Forest was sent to Jail without bail and bail was set at $50,000 for Anderson.
