A traffic stop in the village of Bath resulted in the arrest of a Dansville woman.

Bath Police officers were on normal patrol when they observed a sedan travelling on Liberty Street with insufficient tail lamps. During the stop, officers observed behaviors that led to a consent search of the vehicle, where a quantity of drugs was discovered along with a lock box. A K9 officer was brought to the scene, where he alerted to the presence of drugs inside the car. The driver, 46-year-old Desiree Stratton, consented to opening the box where more drugs were discovered.

Stratton was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
