Three People Facing Felony Drug Charges Following Stop

On Saturday, members of the Auburn Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Fitch Avenue in the City of Auburn.

During the course of the investigation, officers identified the three occupants of the vehicle as driver Cal Rockwell and passengers Danielle Vallette and Kenneth Shelton. As the investigation progressed, officers on scene allegedly located 58.5 grams of cocaine, a quantity of U.S. currency, and suspected paraphernalia consistent with drug packaging.

Rockwell, Vallette, and Shelton were all subsequently taken into custody and transported to police headquarters for processing. Each individual was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a felony.

All three were transported to the Cayuga County Jail for Centralized Arraignment.
