Three teenagers under the age of 18 were arrested by Ithaca Police Tuesday night on felony attempted gang assault charges.
Police say the incident happened shortly before 8 o’clock in the Ithaca Commons. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Police say there were multiple witnesses in the area and several bystanders attempted to intervene on the victim’s behalf. One of the bystanders was also struck by the assailants.
Because of their age, the names of the assailants were not released.
