A traffic stop on Maple Street Round in the town of Lyons on Saturday led to the arrest of a Texas woman.
Gilisa Currington was stopped by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office on Maple Street Road for speeding. Deputies say a check of the 36-year-old McKinney, Texas woman’s license revealed it was suspended. That is when Currington allegedly became confrontational. Currington was ordered to exit her car but refused. She eventually got out and was charged with obstructing governmental administration, in addition to her traffic tickets.
Currington was released from custody and ordered to appear in Lyons Town Court at a later date
