The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says a Syracuse man faces charges following a traffic stop and short pursuit in the town of Williamson.

Deputies arrested 25-year-old Josue Bravos after pulling him over on Route 104. Authorities say deputies initially observed several traffic violations, which led to an attempted stop. Torres Bravos failed to comply, sparking a brief pursuit before he eventually pulled over.

A subsequent investigation determined he was driving while intoxicated. He was charged with DWI, failure to comply with police, and multiple other traffic violations.

Torres Bravos was released with appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Williamson Town Court on September 17 at 4 p.m.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
