State Police arrested a Steuben County man following the investigation into a trespass in progress.
A 9-1-1 caller reported the suspect, 28-year-old Thomas Shaffer, of Cohocton, refused to leave their property when told to do so.
Shaffer was charged with misdemeanor criminal trespass and was issued an appearance ticket.
