A Steuben County man is charged with attempted murder for an incident that happened over the weekend.
Michael Bloom is accused of violating an order of protection against his ex-girlfriend and shooting at her new boyfriend while outside of a home in Hornell on Sunday. The 33-year-old Bloom is accused of firing a gun from the street.
In addition to attempted murder, WETM TV in Elmira reports Bloom is charged with criminal use of a firearm, criminal contempt, reckless endangerment, and criminal possession of a weapon by someone with a previous conviction
