A Corrections Officer at the Steuben County Jail is recovering after being attacked by an inmate.
49-year-old Joseph Remchuk, of Addison, is accused of attacking the officer, resulting in an undisclosed injury. The officer was treated at a local medical facility.
Remchuk was charged with felony assault and was returned to his cell following arraignment.
