A Thursday night stabbing in Union Springs sent one man to Upstate University Hospital.
According to law enforcement, the incident happened at around 10:00p outside a mixed-use building on Cayuga Street.
50-year-old Albert Weber was arrested and charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. Following arraignment, Weber was taken to the Cayuga County Jail without bail.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
