A two-car accident in Sodus Friday night resulted in the arrest of a Wayne County man.
An investigation determined 30-year-old Christopher Shaw, of Ontario, failed to stop at a red light and crashed into a vehicle that was northbound through the intersection of Route 104 and Maple Avenue. After further investigation, it was determined Shaw was driving while intoxicated.
The driver of the other car, who was not identified, was taken to Newark Wayne Hospital for observation.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Wayne County Ambulance and EMTs, Williamson Medic 84 as well as Sodus and Wallington Fire Departments.
