A domestic incident Sunday afternoon in the village of Sodus resulted in the arrest of a 33-year-old Sodus man.
Justin Gooley is accused of restraining his ex-girlfriend by putting her in a chokehold while attempting to take her cell phone away. After letting her go, Gooley is accused of physically blocking the woman from trying to flee the scene. The 33-year-old was charged with unlawful imprisonment and criminal obstruction of breathing.
Gooley was brought to Wayne County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
