The investigation into a shoplifting complaint in the town of Ontario resulted in the arrest of a Rochester man by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department.
37-year-old Carlos Melendez Roque is accused of entering the Tractor Supply store in Ontario and taking two surge rechargable flashlights and a 10 piece socket set that totaled $104.97 without paying for the items. Melendez Roque was located at a convenience store and taken into custody.
After being released on an appearance ticket for Ontario Town Court, Melendez Roque was turned over to the Greece Police Department on an outstanding warrant for petit larceny.
