Seneca Falls Police arrested a local woman following a criminal mischief complaint earlier this month.
Officers say 57-year-old Lisa Preston, of Seneca Falls, was taken into custody on September 9. She was charged with petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief, both misdemeanors.
Preston was released on an appearance ticket and is due back in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
