Seneca Falls Resident Arrested on Bench Warrant

A Seneca Falls resident was arrested Tuesday morning on a bench warrant.

Seneca Falls Police had contacted 53-year-old Woodrow Edwards regarding an unrelated matter when they were advised he had a pending bench warrant out of another law enforcement agency. He then attempted to physically prevent police from placing him into custody so that he could be turned over to the other agency.

Edwards was charged with obstruction of governmental administration.
