The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of a local woman on a bench warrant.
Officers say Michelle Lewis was taken into custody on Wednesday evening. In addition to the warrant, Lewis was charged with third-degree bail jumping.
She was transported to the Seneca County Jail for arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
