The investigation into a property damage accident in the town of Lodi resulted in the arrest of a Lodi man.
According to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Elijah Liebson was witnessed driving off of the roadway and into a ditch on Lodi Center Road at around 6 Tuesday evening. Upon further investigation, Liebson was subsequently arrested for Driving While Intoxicated after field sobriety tests were administered. Liebson submitted to a chemical test via breath, which resulted in a 0.13% BAC.
Liebson was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in Lodi Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
